Recover Deleted Seagate HDD Partition

Seagate is the number one manufacturer of hard drives across the world. To increase the system performance, you need to partition the hard drive. Partitioning a hard drive means dividing the physical hard drive into two or more different logical sections. If you have two or more partitions then you can easily install two or more Operating system on separate partition of same hard drive. You can also easily encrypt your private data by encrypting a single partition, which contains your private data thereby avoiding unauthorized access by the other people. Before creating multiple partitions, you should know the size of hard drive. Based on the capacity of the hard drive, you can create number of partitions you want. Using Windows disk management utility you can create, delete and rename the partitions. While creating partitions, you may encounter partitioning errors, which may results in data loss. retrieving deleted partition from Seagate hard drive will be an easy task, if you have already created backup of essential data. Otherwise, you can use partition restoration utility to retrieve lost data from the partitions. This deleted partition restoration software helps to perform external hard drive deleted partition recovery on Windows 7, Windows Vista, Win XP, Windows Server 2003, 2008 on both 32-bit as well as 64-bit versions. Along with Seagate hard disk partition retrieval, the software also supports WD hard disk drive partition recovery and retrieval partition data from hard drives of other brands. This software can also restore lost NTFS partition data on Windows 7

Some of the common scenarios leading to the failure of the Seagate HD are discussed below:

  • Accidental formatting of the hard drive: Suppose you have one dynamic drive named audio and another as documents. You wished to format audio partition but by mistake you formatted document partition, which certainly leads to data loss.

  • Hard Drive crash: The Master Boot Record (MBR) helps in booting of Windows operating system and is an important component of FAT and NTFS file systems. These file system manage data which are stored in your hard drive. So any corruption to the Master Boot Record (MBR) leads to hard drive crash.

  • Virus Attack: Hard drives can get infected by viruses such as Malware, Spyware, Trojans, Adware, etc. These viruses can damage important system files as a result of which hard drive fails to boot thus leading to data loss.

  • Re-partitioning the hard drive: While conversion of file system from FAT to NTFS you need to re-partition the hard drive. If the process of conversion is interrupted in between due to power surge or other reasons, can result in huge data loss.

Although creating or deleting a partition from hard drive is simple and easy, it should be done carefully. If you delete wrong partition then there may be chances of data loss so, if you want to delete a partition then you have select the correct partition, which you want to delete. To protect data from such problems you should have backup. The moment you find that you have lost the data then, avoid saving or copying new data on affected partitions, which may overwrite the data resulting in permanent data loss beyond the recovery. If you have not created backup, then you can use data retrieval software to retrieve data from formatted or deleted partitions.
